The INSIGHT™ Framework
Understanding menopause beyond symptoms.
The INSIGHT™ Framework is the foundation that guides every coaching program, workplace workshop, leadership session, and group conversation I deliver.
It was developed from a simple observation.
Many women understand that menopause is changing their bodies, but struggle to understand why it also affects the way they think, feel, work, lead, and experience themselves.
At the same time, organisations often see changes in confidence, communication, or performance without recognising the neurological and emotional changes that may be influencing them.
The INSIGHT™ Framework brings these pieces together, helping women and organisations understand menopause through a broader and more practical lens.
Why the INSIGHT™ Framework was created
Much of the conversation around menopause focuses on physical symptoms.
Those symptoms are real and deserve attention.
However, they are only part of the experience.
For many women, the greatest challenges are cognitive and emotional.
Difficulty concentrating
Brain fog
Reduced confidence
Mental fatigue
Emotional sensitivity
A growing sense that they are no longer functioning as they once did
Without a clear understanding of why these changes occur, it is easy to mistake a significant biological transition for a personal or professional decline.
The INSIGHT™ Framework was created to bridge that gap between biology, behaviour, and everyday life.
A broader understanding of menopause
Menopause is more than a hormonal transition.
Fluctuating hormones influence how the brain regulates attention, memory, emotional responses, stress, motivation, and cognitive load.
These neurological changes do not happen in isolation.
They interact with the expectations women place on themselves, the responsibilities they carry at work and at home, and the stories they begin to tell themselves when familiar ways of coping no longer work.
This is why two women with similar symptoms can have very different experiences.
The INSIGHT™ Framework considers the whole picture, helping make sense of how biology, thinking, emotions, confidence, identity, behaviour, and daily life influence one another.
Understanding those connections creates new possibilities for responding more effectively.
Why neuroscience matters
Neuroscience is not the destination.
It is the lens that helps explain what is happening beneath the surface.
Research continues to show that changing hormone levels during perimenopause and menopause influence the brain systems involved in attention, emotional regulation, stress response, memory, decision-making, and cognitive flexibility.
Understanding these changes helps remove unnecessary self-blame.
It allows women to stop personalising what is physiological and begin responding in ways that better support their brain, nervous system, and overall wellbeing.
This is why neuroscience sits at the heart of my work—not as an academic subject, but as a practical tool for making sense of everyday experience.
From understanding to practical change
Understanding alone is rarely enough.
The INSIGHT™ Framework translates knowledge into practical action.
Whether through individual coaching, workplace education, leadership development, or group learning, the focus is always the same:
understanding what is happening
reducing unnecessary self-doubt
strengthening confidence and self-trust
developing practical strategies that support focus, emotional wellbeing, and decision-making
creating sustainable ways of working and living through menopause
Because meaningful change happens when understanding is applied in everyday life.

Understanding changes everything.
When women understand what is happening, they stop questioning themselves.
When leaders understand what they are seeing, conversations become more supportive.
When organisations understand menopause beyond symptoms, experienced women are more likely to stay, contribute, and thrive.
That is the purpose of the INSIGHT™ Framework.
